At Ludlum Measurements, Inc. our instruments are typically designed as general purpose meters. This allows a survey meter to be used with several different types of detectors. For this reason all electronics and detectors have individual part numbers and are ordered separately.

A customer orders a Model 3 Survey Meter with a Model 44-9 Alpha-Beta-Gamma Detector.

When ordered together, the following accessories are included at no additional charge:
- 1 meter (39 in.) cable
- Customer selected meter face
- Batteries
- 1 year instrument calibration with certificate
- Detector clip for holding the detector on the instrument
To ensure that you receive the configuration you desire, please specify the meter face and the type of detector connector you prefer.
Placing an Order
Please contact your local representative or dealer to place orders for Ludlum products.
When placing an order, please be sure to:
- Identify each instrument by part number
- Specify the desired of connector type
- Specify the desired meter face
If no meter face is specified, the standard cpm or mR/hr meter face (whichever is appropriate based on the detector) will be supplied. If no connector type is specified, the standard "C" type connector will be supplied.
Be sure to also include:
- Shipping Address (we cannot ship instruments to P.O. Boxes; we must have a physical address)
- Billing Address
- Contact Name
- Phone Number
- Purchase Order Number (if required)
We ship via UPS, FedEx, and Motor Freight.
If you will pay by credit card, please include:
- Card type (we accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express)
- Card number
- Expiration date
- Name as it appears on the card
You may call our office with the credit card information if you are uncomfortable providing the information via e-mail.
International Orders
All international accounts are required to submit an End Use/User Statement. Proforma invoices are not submitted to customer without the End Use/User Statement.
Domestic customers who are sending the instruments internationally are also required to submit an End Use/User Statement.
An End Use/User Statement is not required for repair/calibration, but a denied party screening will be performed.
