MRI Phantom

The Model L-ACR-PHM Series MRI Phantoms are MRI accessories used to evaluate the performance of an MRI machine. [HTS: 9018.19.4000]

The Model L-ACR-PHM-L Large Phantom is a 203.2 mm (8 in.) dia x 173.40 mm (6.82 in.) cylinder with various fixtures inside, including a drilled plate grid, membrane stack, ramp, resolution block, and S-N chamber. The level bar is 177.80 x 9.53 x 9.53 mm (7 x 0.375 x 0.375 in) [L x W x H].

The Model L-ACR-PHM-M Medium Phantom is a 177.8 mm (7 in.) dia. x 155.575 mm (6.125 in.) cylinder with various fixtures inside, including a drilled plate grid, membrane stack, ramp, resolution block, and S-N chamber. The level bar is 161.93 x 9.53 x 9.53 mm (6.375 x 0.375 x 0.375 in.) [L x W x H]. (Generally for Smaller Head Coils.)

The Drilled Plate for both phantoms has nine holes, each hole is 1.5 mm. Holes are spaced 60 mm center-to-center on the Large Phantom, and 45 mm center-to-center on the Medium Phantom.
Inside the Resolution Block of both phantoms is ~1 ml of vegetable oil.

The salt solution inside the phantom contains less than 11 grams of nickel chloride hexahydrate and 17 grams of sodium chloride in 3.8 liters of water in the Large Phantom and 2.7 liters in the Medium Phantom.
