Free Release Monitor for Automated Gamma Detection of Barrels

The Model HWM-550 is Ludlum´s medium-sized clearance monitor of the HWM series with a volume of 550 L (19.4 ft³) and can measure up to 600 kg (1,320 lb) of material at a time.

The standard unit is equipped with the following features:

10 gamma plastic detectors for complete 4π coverage
50 mm (2 in.) lead shielding, 75 mm (3 in.) optional
Built-in weigh scale for up to 600 kg (1,320 lb)
Powder-coated steel frame with easy to clean stainless steel lining inside and outside
Automatic conveyor system with electrically driven door
Desk operation with 17 in. touchscreen display, keyboard with mouse- trackball, UPS for the protection of measurements and controllers or optional stand-alone cabinet

The Model HWM-550 provides fast and reliable detection of gamma radiation. Equipped with the latest measuring electronics and a built-in maintenance module, it allows optimization of the system to ensure consistent peak performance.
