The DOT 17H RAD WASTE (new) drums are 4-pi lined with 3 mm (1/8 in.) or 6.4 mm (1/4 in.) of lead. These decay drums come in three sizes: 15, 30, or 55 gallons. The removable overlapping lid has two options, the standard lid or the optional hinged lid. The provided standard lid is a sealed snap-on lid that is better for a one time use that will then be hauled off. The optional hinged lid has an 8 x 8 in. access hole and handle on top for easier access that is better for day to day disposal.
The standard lid is provided with the drum if the optional hinged lid is not purchased. Four-wheel dollies are also optional.
