Spectroscopic Area Monitor - Model 720
Introduction

The Ludlum Model 720 is a fixed gamma radioisotope identification (RID) system that detects and identifies multiple nuclides, providing quantified results using time-slice analysis. The system evaluates background radiation levels on a continuous basis, and responds to any detected radiation that exceeds the preset alarm setpoint by initiating an alarm and automatic isotope identification procedure.

Data acquired is stored in memory on a compact flash card. Enough memory is available to store thousands of isotope ID events along with the configuration data.

While this is a stand-along instrument, optional Ludlum Universal software provides access to many additional features. The software enables the user to review status and results from multiple systems on the network by using a simple web browser.
